About Danielle
Danielle Lewis leads Springboard Partners, an organization that uses the power of communication to do more good. Springboard helps nonprofits and foundations make more impact on issues that matter – from the environment and health care to ending violence against girls and women. Danielle helps clients understand themselves and their challenges, find creative solutions, get on the same page, communicate powerfully, and, ultimately, make more good happen. Danielle created Move to End Violence’s Research Into Action Guide and previously served as faculty in the program, focused on communication planning and messaging.
Prior to founding Springboard, Danielle was a vice president at Spitfire Strategies where she led trainings worldwide for foundations and their grantees, developed the firm’s approach to branding, and directed projects for national nonprofits. She began her career at McKinney and Associates, where she coordinated national and regional media campaigns on issues such as affirmative action, racial profiling, and fair housing. Danielle was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area and holds a B.A. in rhetoric and communication studies and Spanish from the University of Richmond.
