About Annika
Annika M. Gifford is a highly generative, strategic and collaborative leader with extensive social and systems change experience. She is a critical thinker, problem-solver and bridge builder. Most recently, Ms. Gifford helped facilitate the launch, design and operation of Resonance Network, an innovative national network whose purpose is to reimagine and activate culture and systems change. Prior to Resonance Network, Ms. Gifford held senior program and policy positions with Break the Cycle and the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence. After university, Ms. Gifford spent four years working in Croatia at the Centre for Women’s Studies, Zagreb. She also a co-founded a Croatian non-governmental organization promoting greater social inclusion of children and youth with disabilities. Ms. Gifford has a Master of Arts in Gender and Peacebuilding from the United Nations Mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica. She was part of cohort 2 of Move to End Violence. Ms. Gifford served on the Board of Directors of the Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence from 2014-2018. She is a donor family member of the Building More Philanthropy with Purpose Giving Circle made up of Asian immigrant and refugee families supporting Asian American Pacific Islander communities in the Midwest.
