Roberto Vargas, DrPH, MSW, is an educator, community organizer and organization consultant with more than 30 years experience providing leadership development, team building and strategic planning services primarily to organizations engaged in advocacy, community service, empowerment and social change. A founder of several Chicano community programs and an active ceremony leader, Roberto integrates the practices of spirit connection and cultural activism in his consultations. Roberto’s books include Family Activism: Empowering Your Community Beginning with Family and Friends (2008) and Razalogia: Community Learning for a New Society (1984).
