Move to End Violence is Hiring–Application Period Closed

UPDATE: As of March 26th, we have closed the application period for this position.

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and directed individual to join a five-person consulting team working to advance Move to End Violence, a 10-year, 80 million-dollar initiative to end violence against women and girls in the United States.

Move to End Violence aims to strengthen a movement with the capacity to imagine, align around a vision of, and advocate for social change. We begin by bringing together a cohort of the most innovative individuals in the field (our Movement Makers) and creating the conditions that allow them to develop a vision and strategies to move the movement forward.

For this effort to be successful, we must create a critical mass of activists aligned around a common vision and ready to move in the same direction. This will require outreach to and engagement of an ever-expanding circle of activists in this movement and related social justice movements. To do this, we will need to share the vision and strategies as they are evolving within Move to End Violence and create opportunities for our partners to engage with and influence this thinking. This will create alignment. We will also need to share the capacity building tools and practices that we are using with the network of Movement Makers, so that the partners who are inclined to move with us are simultaneously strengthening their capacity to do so well. This will ensure we are ready to move together.

The Outreach & Engagement Manager will administer internal initiatives, as well as collaborate with and support the efforts of the Network to achieve these goals. Learn more about this position.
