About Heather
Ms. Lewis-Charp has expertise in women’s philanthropy and violence prevention. She served as the project director of evaluations for the Women’s Funding Network, BlueShield Foundation of California, and Ms. Foundation, including evaluations of culturally responsive approaches to ending domestic violence and online advocacy. She also has served as the project director and lead analyst of large-scale systems efforts to address youth violence in Baltimore, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Chicago, Orlando, and other cities across the country. Finally, she has published extensively on the importance of racial identity development and civic engagement in healthy youth development and has a deep passion for evaluating youth-led social change efforts.
