How do people in your community express care?

At the third convening of our fifth cohort, each day began with a language justice practice led by a different Movement Maker. These practices allowed folks to explore language justice in a broad and intersectional way. Language isn’t just about speaking, or words, but also about communicating different emotions, concepts, experiences. This visual reflects a conversation about how we express care, rooted in language, culture, and offerings. Other language justice conversations offered by Movement Makers throughout the week focused on how we express and process grief and how movement is a way of communicating and knowing.
